Dr. Chloe Raftery is a native of San Francisco, California who recently made the District of Columbia her home. Dr. Raftery graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a degree in Psychology. After college, she spent many years working in the veterinary field before obtaining her DVM from Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California. Before working at District Vet she worked at a busy general practice in Whittier, California.
Dr. Raftery’s experiences include working with dogs, cats as well as exotic animals. Her professional interests include preventative medicine, oncology, internal medicine and client education. She also hopes to obtain her acupuncture certificate within the next couple of years.
In her free time, Dr. Raftery enjoys traveling, hiking, spending time with her dog and cat Oz and Willow, and exploring everything DC has to offer.
